Five Unique Sweets That You Need To Try at The Royal Hawaiian

Imagine deliciously sweet desserts that not only taste great, but look just as good! Here are 5 sweet items that you need to try when you visit The Royal Hawaiian, a Luxury Collection Resort, affectionately known as the Pink Palace.

1. Pink Palace Pancakes

Light, pink, fluffy, and almost too pretty to eat, these Pink Palace Pancakes are a must-try when you visit Waikiki!  Cost: $18 for pancakes. For those that get the breakfast buffet ($42) this is an option as an entrée that can be selected from the menu. Only available during breakfast hours (6:30 – 11 a.m.) at the Surf Lanai Restaurant.

2. Pink Snowball

 

A fun twist to the childhood favorite Snowball by Hostess, the Pink Palace has created its own #OnlyattheRoyal Pink Snowball with Pink Haupia Cream, Toasted Coconut Flakes, and Fresh Berries.  Cost: $6.50 at the Royal Hawaiian Bakery, open daily from 7:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Parking is compliments for 4 hours or less with a minimum $20 purchase.

3. The Royal Bake Shop Banana Bread French Toast

Using the original recipe of our famous Banana Bread, this unique breakfast entrée includes Macadamia Nuts, Banana Foster, Koloa Rum, garnished with fresh berries. Cost: $18 at the Surf Lanai Restaurant. Only available during breakfast hours (6:30 – 11 a.m.).

4. Chocolate Flourless Cake

We have something sweet and delicious for our gluten-free guests. Rich, decadent, and perfectly accented with berries and finished with a nice crunch, the Flourless Cake at Azure includes Chambord Mixed Berries, Chocolate Tuille, Cocoa Nib Crunch, Raspberry and Lilikoi Reduction, along with a Blackberry Cabernet Gelato.  Cost: $11 at Azure Restaurant, open daily from 5:30 – 9:00 p.m.

5. Mai Tai Frozen Parfait

For a refreshing treat after a day at the beach, come experience Mai Tai Bar’s new “Mai Tai Frozen Parfait,” which includes Almond Jell-O, Pineapple Orange Gelato, Macadamia Nut Cornflake Crunch, Pineapple Mochi, and Caramel Rum Syrup.
Cost: $11 at Mai Tai Bar, daily from 11:00 a.m. – 11:00 p.m.
